Marriage is about commitment — and sometimes, that commitment begins in difficult circumstances. At Elope OKC, we’re honored to support couples who choose to move forward in love, even when one partner is incarcerated.

If you're planning to marry someone currently serving time in an Oklahoma correctional facility, Rev. Joy Daniels provides officiant services specifically designed to meet the unique requirements of prison weddings.

With experience, compassion, and a no-judgment approach, we’ll help you navigate the steps to make your marriage legal and meaningful.

What We Provide:

• Step-by-Step Guidance
  We’ll walk through the approval process. 

• Coordination with the Facility
  Your officiant will coordinate with the facility Chaplain to complete required paperwork and ensure the ceremony follows prison guidelines.

• On-Site Ceremony
  Your officiant will travel to the facility to perform a brief, legally binding ceremony that honors your commitment. (You may need to consult the facility about whether the officiant needs to be added as an approved visitor prior to the ceremony.)  

• Marriage License Support
  Your officiant will complete and sign your marriage license, then guide each member of the wedding party through the proper steps to sign it correctly and accurately.

Important Notes:

• Ceremonies are brief and must follow strict facility rules.

• No custom vows or unity ceremonies are allowed.

• We currently serve select Oklahoma correctional institutions — please contact us to confirm your location.

• Scheduling is subject to facility approval and availability. Oklahoma Prisons typically allow wedding ceremonies two times per year and may have special requirements for approval.
